No. Yovio runs inside Telegram as a Mini App — there is no separate app to download, no new account, and no password to remember. Your Telegram account is your Yovio account, and your plans, receipts and support live in the same chat.

Your phone needs eSIM support and must not be locked to a carrier. That covers most flagships since 2018 — iPhone XS/XR and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, Galaxy S20 and newer. The Mini App has a searchable list of supported devices, so check yours before you buy.

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay (processed by Stripe), cryptocurrency (processed by NOWPayments — the supported coins and networks are shown at checkout), or Telegram Stars through Telegram's own invoice. Card details never touch Yovio: they go straight into Stripe's payment form.

As soon as the payment is confirmed, the plan shows up in My eSIMs and the bot messages you that the eSIM is ready. Open it and install it with the QR code or with the direct install link for iOS or Android. Install early, on a stable connection — and don't delete the profile from your device: a deleted eSIM cannot be restored or moved to another phone.

Validity is set per plan and shown in days on every package — there is no single 30-day rule. Some packages start counting from the moment you install the eSIM, even before you reach the destination, so check the plan's validity policy before you install it.

You can top up the same eSIM from the Mini App. The data is added to the eSIM you already have — no new QR code, no reinstalling — and the bot messages you once the top-up is ready. Remaining data and days are always visible on the eSIM's usage screen.

Yes. A Yovio eSIM carries data only, so WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage keep working with your original number. Most travellers keep their home SIM active for calls and texts and use Yovio for data.

You can cancel a plan from the Mini App while it is still pending — that is, before the eSIM is installed and activated. The refund is credited to your YoviPay balance inside Yovio, not back to the card or wallet you paid with, and Telegram confirms it. Once the eSIM is installed or active it can no longer be cancelled; if it cannot be activated because of a technical problem on our side or the network's, contact support.

YoviPay is your balance inside Yovio. It collects cashback from completed orders and refunds from cancelled ones, and you can top it up yourself with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, crypto or Telegram Stars, from $1.
